Such a gorgeous piece of art! Mairon/Annatar/Sauron is a fascinating character, because he's so complex. At least he is in Silmarillion, later on he's just a giant burning eye and pretty much one-dimensional... I hate what he did to precious Finrod and my darling Celebrimbor, but I am still captivated by his presence in this picture. Lovely!
