No, koniec bajdurzenia, do nauki. <3

Finally the summer has come. I know, a lot of people hate heatwaves but I'm really glad that rainy and cold days've gone.  I' m quite rare specimen of a "warm-liker". =P

I'd like to draw more and more, but I have no free time because of the summer exam session.
I hope that during holidays I'll make up for this non-creative time. I need to learn digital painting more and more.
I plan to draw some pictures devoted to widely understood history, myths and legends. Recently I'm very keen on East Asian stories, eg. from China, Japan and Korea. I like the mixtures of Oriental colours eg indigo, crimson and orange. Indoubtedly I' ll use these to paint.

Huh, what should I write? I've been quite busy recently so I haven't updated my journal yet.

I'm very happy 'cause the spring inevitably comes. :floating: It's almost mid-March. The sun shines more and there's more green grass on the streets squares. The life is going to reborn. The astonishing everlasting cycle of nature. If only the time didn't run so quickly...

Unfortunately in Poland the weather is again nasty, it snows and rains, brrr. What's more, it's COLD!!! About -4 degrees. "Where's the spring gone?", I dare ask.
Anyway, let's finish these phrases with "WJO! Wszyscy Jesteśmy Obłąkani." :giggle: In English: "We are all crazy/mad." It's quite difficult to translate 'cause it's a words playing. The letters WJO are the beginning part of the word "wiosna" - the Spring in Polish and at the same time they contain the first letters of the phrase "we're mad".
The quote itself belongs to the Mirriel forum. =)

I'm now wrapped up in pure "epicness", some epic situations, actions in the litterature, history and manga/anime. I clearly need some pathos. ^^ Yeah, I "suck in" some charismatic (and handsome) commanders, intellectuals, warriors and powerful situations (battles, duels with swords, glances and words).

I'm a bit sleepy now, so, well, goodnight my sweet prince, er, no, my dear DA-companions! ;)

Recently, I 'm (re)reading or (re)watching some books (notabene for pleasure, non-academic), pictures, mangas and animes.

I realized that I'm crazy about tall, cold and fair-haired (especially silver, but also blond) heroes. :giggle:
For example, Elwe Singollo, Ingwe (?) and Finrod (?) from JRRT's "Silmarillion", Taishakuten from Clamp's "RG Veda", Kunzite from "Sailor Moon", Raphael and Michael from "Earthian", Iason and Raoul from "Ai no Kusabi", Nanjo Koji from "Zestuai", Sesshomaru from "Inuyasha", Sanzo from "Saiyuki", Ryo Hyou and Emperor Ryuuki Shi from "Saiunkoku Monogatari", Lucius Malfoy from "Harry Potter", Hamlet from Shakespeare's "Hamlet" (my Hamlet is light-blondie), Auberon from Sapkowski's "Wiedźmin", Lestat from Rice's "Interview with the vampire", Barquiel l'Envers from Carey's "Kushiel's Trilogy", Greek deity Apollo, Gallo-Roman Belenus, Scandinavian Baldr etc.

Of course there are also some dark-haired exceptions -> Sakuya/Lucipher and Zaphikel from "Angel Sanctuary", Emperor Shoryu from "12 Kingdoms"/"Juuni Kokki", Ran Shuuei from "Saiunkoku Monogatari", Regis and Emperor Emhyr var Emreis from Sapkowski's "Wiedźmin", Raziel and Gabriel from Kossakowska's "Siewca Wiatru", Marquis de Carabas from Gaiman's "Neverwhere", Wiatr na Szczycie and Promień from Białołęcka's "Kroniki II Kręgu", Severus Snape from "Harry Potter" etc.

Now, let's finish this litany, certainly boring for you. =)
I like writing down my fav characters. Maybe in the future I'll read my old journal and wonder why I chose these heroes.
